This is an alternate Earth; a fantasy world where people drive to remote rocket bases in the desert and watch launches routinely. Instead of the moon on the late afternoon horizon, we see Saturn low and in the distance. Even the car is a fantasy. But of course, the owner's loyal dog is always real :) 18x24 oil on hardboard masonite. AVAILABLE (contact)

This year I discovered a unique and amazing place: Alpine, Arizona. It's a tiny town nestled in the White Mountains of Arizona. It has no airport, but I imagined this entire scene. A Douglas DC-3 sits in the snowy twilight awaiting passengers while a man and his loyal dog wait to board, bathed in the warm glow of the wooden terminal building. Its real meets fantasy. 18x24 oil on canvas. AVAILABLE
